Hello and welcome.

My name is Leanne. I am an artist living in Sydney Australia.

I have enjoyed art for as long as I can remember.

I studied visual arts at University where I majored in metal work, then did a jewellery traineeship and worked in the jewellery industry for many years.

Now returning to my love of 2D art, I am not content with only one art medium. I enjoy working both with coloured pencils and acrylic paints and like to experiment with different surfaces (paper, canvas, linen, wood…)

My interest in birds has been a long one. I had my first pet budgie as a child and currently have two pet budgies. I am lucky enough to live surrounded by a lot of wildlife, especially birds which is where I get my inspiration. I like to focus my attention on Australian birds in particular.
