A gift/note card featuring a drawing of an Australian laughing kookaburra. Native to Australia and part of the kingfisher family of birds, I am lucky enough to see these birds in my own garden. Usually seen perched in trees, this kookaburra I have drawn standing on the ground. They sit high in the trees where they have a good view of the ground below and swoop down to catch their prey. This kookaburra is standing on the ground after having found a meal as I observe frequently in my own garden.
A beautiful card for anyone that loves kookaburra's or Australian birds/wildlife in general. A good option if you wish to send something very Australian overseas.
My original drawing was done in coloured pencil.
